BlueFit Leisure has a focus on quality rather than quantity- We only tender for facilities that require specialist hands-on support, that are owned by councils looking for a long-term partnership rather than simply a contract. We have particular strengths in working with local user groups, schools and sporting clubs to ensure the facilities cater for more of the community. Golf, squash, basketball and swimming clubs based at our facilities all relate well to our management approach.
We have a strong partnership with the Lane Cove, Hurstville, Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane City Councils, achieving brilliant results at each facility. Every facility we have been involved with has seen considerable management improvements and significant increases in annual attendance. Operations
We operate under a complete management structure developed by industry professionals. Late 2010 will see the launch of the much anticipated BlueFit Leisure Intranet which will open communication between the team across the country and allow for exceptional live information for improved operational control. Central sales figures, pool testing, facility audit results, incident reporting, feedback, and much more provide managers and councils with outstanding information and transparency. Two years in the making, the intranet will grow in capability throughout 2011 into provide the ultimate system for leisure facility management.
Marketing
We have the flexibility to operate facilities under our own brands or those of Council. Using an internal marketing, graphic design and website department, all designs are approved well in advance of printing or display. National promotions may be used in conjunction with local specials and event promotion. Examples of marketing are available.
HR and OHS
Although operations are hands-on and community focussed like a small business, having multiple sites and a central Site Support team allows for big business systems and procedures. The risk reduction we offer is outstanding, with complete induction, training, risk assessment, work instruction and audit policies and procedures in place and in development.
Sales
We have proven at various locations how private club sales system initiatives can benefit public facilities in the growth of areas such as swim school enrolments and health club memberships. Case study examples show the results that can be achieved using specific marketing, dedicated sales systems and strong programs. No other facility management company can achieve these results, which lead to higher annual attendances and increased financial viability of public leisure sites.
Programs and Events
Beyond the standard swim school and health club services, we are pushing forward in the development of a range of community programs and events. These include the outdoor movie nights, birthday parties, open days, holiday programs, Swimathons and specialised programs offered through the BlueFit Foundation
Partnership with Council
The owners of the company meet with every council every month to maintain strong relationships that benefits the success of the 20 leisure facilities. We believe regional and facility managers are of great benefit, however Councils should have the ability to discuss issues with the owners of the company is vital in getting things done. We offer complete transparency and have a strong history in investing in capital projects and equipment for the long-term benefit of the venues.
